Celebrate all things American at Historic Cold Spring Village's annual Independence Day Celebration, which will be held on Saturday and Sunday, July 1st and 2nd, from 10am to 4:30pm. A variety of patriotic family activities, programs and music will be taking place and the Village's restored historic buildings will be open, featuring demonstrations of Early American trades and crafts. 10:00 am - 4:30 pm

This side-splitting comedy takes place on the Upper West Side of Manhattan where Marjorie Taub is looking for meaning in her life. A mysterious figure from her past appears and at first infuses her with life but soon becomes an unwelcome and sinister guest in her home. Marjorie's 80 year old mother is obsessed with her bowels and the dialogue is scatological but smart and funny. The New York Times called it "a window rattling comedy of mid-life malaise…it earns its wall too wall laughs." NY Magazine says it is "an intelligently funny and satirically relevant uptown comedy." at Cape May Stage 405 Lafayette St. 8:00pm - 10:00pm

Constantine Maroulis was born a scrappy kid in Brooklyn with big pipes, deep pride for his Greek heritage, and a love for the theater and rock n' roll. Constantine first came to prominence as the beloved rock n' roll underdog on American Idol. He then secured his place in pop culture as a Broadway superstar, best known for The Wedding Singer, Jekyll and Hyde, and his TONY-nominated role in Rock Of Ages. Now, for his third act, he begins an invigorating and promising new era with a bevvy of intriguing projects, including putting the finishing touches on his most assured and swaggering solo music to date. 8:00 pm - 9:30 pm

Meet Captain Kidd by 1:00 pm to receive your pirate hat and then follow him to dig for buried treasure at his treasure site. Rules: Ages 3-10 (separate areas for 3-4, 5-7,& 8-10 year olds). Only 1 treasure chest per child. No adults will be allowed in digging areas. No metal shovels. All treasure seekers must leave the treasure area after finding a treasure chest. 1:00pm

Charles Busch is the author and star of such plays as The Divine Sister, Vampire Lesbians of Sodom, The Tribute Artist and The Tale of the Allergist's Wife, which ran for 777 performances on Broadway and received a Tony nomination for Best Play. He wrote and starred in the film versions of his plays, Psycho Beach Party and Die Mommie Die, the latter of which won him the Best Performance Award at the Sundance Film Festival. In 2003, Mr. Busch received a special Drama Desk Award for career achievement as both performer and playwright. He is a two-time MAC award winner and has performed his cabaret act in many cities including San Francisco, Palm Springs, Provincetown, New Orleans, Atlanta, London, Paris and in New York at the Ballroom, Birdland and 54 Below. 8:00 pm - 9:30 pm
